Identify opportunities for cost reduction and evaluate the quality of the repair.
Liaison with vendors on repair work scope, cost and delivery lead time
Regular review with key repair vendors
Technical/Engineering Evaluation of Unserviceable (U/S) Component/Data for Development of Repair Strategy
Resolve Discrepancies for serviceable and unserviceable components with vendor or other departments.
Monitor high arising of U/S components and identify critical components for reliability management and studies with Engineering
Supervise and provide guidance to the junior staff on quotations processing and approvals.
Any other duties assigned by head of department.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Proactive, resourceful, able to work with and inspire team.
Able to communicate effectively with OEMs, vendors and internal stakeholders.
Degree in Engineering (Aerospace/Electrical/Mechanical)
Minimum 5 years of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) of aircraft components, airworthiness requirements and relevant Airbus and Boeing policies relating to aircraft component repairs.
