Location : Changi , pick up at Bedok & Tampines mrt Benefits : Salary up to $4,000 + Transportation Allowances + VB Assistant Manager- Sea freight Operations Duties and Responsibilities: - Leads Location : Changi , pick up at Bedok & Tampines mrt Benefits : Salary up to $4,000 + Transportation Allowances + VB Assistant Manager- Sea freight Operations Duties and Responsibilities: - Leads & oversees the smooth and efficient operations of the seafreight export & import operations - Provides customer service and handles enquiries or complaints of export & import sea shipments. - Initiates action to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity and controls further processing on non-conforming product until unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. - Implementation of corrective & preventive actions. - Ensures efficient and prompt sea cargo shipments. - Liaises with liner carriers on space bookings & rates negotiation. - Warehouse & transport management with vendors - Process management & SOP preparation - Handling of cargo claims with customers & Partners - Liaises closely with overseas offices to arrange & coordinate transit shipments. - Monitors on prompt billing to customers on all sea freight shipments handled. Requirements - 2- 8 years' experience in sea freight operations, FCL / LCL and NVOCC . - Diploma level or higher. - Knowledge of Export & Import Customs regulations, clearance procedures and Container Freight Station operations. - Computer literate.
