Position Overview
The Assistant Manager supports the Cafe Manager in daily operations, floor management, staff supervision, and ensuring excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily cafe operations, including floor readiness and POS/reservation system management. Support staff scheduling, training, and cover managerial shifts as needed. Supervise and coach the team to deliver consistent service standards. Engage with guests, resolve issues, and drive upselling and team sales performance. Report operational issues and improvement opportunities to Management.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' cafe or restaurant experience with supervisory exposure. Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays
