Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary Range: Up to $7,800.00 per month

This is a Permanent role.

We are looking for intellectually curious, highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to build Advanced Analytics and Data Infrastructure capabilities within the Regional IT Center of Competence (RCoC) for Data Analytics team. Someone who can understand the latest in the technology stack and implement the most modernized and optimized architecture.

As the Assistant Manager - Technical Data Architect, your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Design and develop highly-scalable and reliable end-to-end data enterprise platforms
• Design and maintain Regional Overseas Data Lake and analytics engine for use in BI Reporting, data analytics/ big data solutions in close alignment with headquarters and markets
• Recognize/analyze highly complex processes, interdependencies and gaps and to develop new approaches to solutions
• Design and propose robust solutions to add business value and increase data movement performance
• Understand the data through exploration, building and maintaining secure and compliant data processing pipelines by using different tools and techniques
• Capable to explain the specific benefits of solution approaches
• Continuously review and evolve the architecture to include the latest available cloud components
• Align Regional Data Lake architecture with global architecture blueprint, markets and headquarters teams
• Implement ETL (extract, transform and load) pipelines, monitoring/maintaining data pipeline performance
• Design and execute data protection plan for sensitive data , data deletion and archiving concepts on eXtollo
• Understand the source systems technical setup and the impact of the constant changes in the ecosystem
• Create solution designs for eXtollo OS e.g. how the data sources should be onboarded to eXtollo, data refresh frequencies, refinement layer setup, new azure technologies
• Collect, process, store and analyze large volumes of business-critical data.
• Ensure overall quality of code on RCoC eXtollo instances
• Participate in daily Scrums and in monthly Sprint reviews and planning meetings as required

1. IT Enterprise Integration Management

• Design and deliver Azure Data Analytics solutions
• Define, review, and explain Data Architecture requirements & design to all the project stakeholders
• Data Architecture design
• Data quality system and process design
• Documentation of solutions
• Lead the migration of data from legacy systems to newly developed solution.
• Ensure that standardized solutions are delivered
• Ensure consistency of the overall Overseas IT landscape
• Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team
• Ensure quality of code

2. Coordination & Communication

• Build-up and strengthen relationship with all stakeholders in the region, headquarter and the markets to effectively perform the necessary tasks within the function
• Ability to explain complex processes and solutions clearly and precisely to different target groups and to explain the specific benefits of solution approaches
• Continuous alignment of Regional Data Lake with global architecture blueprint and headquarters team
• Sharing and collaboration of solution across all regions
• Alignment with all regional and market system technical and business owners to understand the changes in the ecosystem

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer/data science technical or related experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience on Azure Cloud Platform
• Experience with Architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage and delta lake
• Experience in designing and implementing machine learning solutions as part of high volume data ingestion and transformation pipelines and recent experience working in a Dev/Ops environment

Specific Knowledge:

• Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure Data factory, Azure Spark,
• Azure cloud based services for data warehouse & analytics
• Delta Lake
• Python Language

Functional Competencies:

• Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, PaaS, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies)
• Able to Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization
