To lead market research on technology and digitalization.
To lead research collaboration agreements and research grants.
To stay current in the latest relevant technology, digitalization, trends, in order to bring a competitive edge for our products.
To chart technology and digitalization roadmaps with lines of business.
To engage institutes of higher learning (IHLs), research institutes (RIs), start-ups and companies on technology and digitalization development and insertion.
To work on intellectual properties strategies on technology and digitalization development and insertion.

Requirements:

Good honours degree in engineering/science
Good knowledge of hybrid electric drive, robotics, additive manufacturing, smart systems and/or digitalization will be an advantage.
Two years or more experience working on technology development and insertion with IHLs, RIs, start-ups and companies.
Strong desire to demonstrate innovative and strategic skills.
Strong ability to learn, understand and clearly articulate new technologies across all domains and audiences.
Strong team player and relational skills.
Strong communication skills.
