The Assistant/Manager, Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing, implementing and executing advertising and promotional plans to support student recruitment objectives for the Global The Assistant/Manager, Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing, implementing and executing advertising and promotional plans to support student recruitment objectives for the Global Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs offered in ESSEC's campuses in Singapore and France. Equal parts creative and customer-oriented, you enjoy interacting with high schoolers and undergraduates to drive marketing ideas, contents and visual assets that will appeal to them, while keeping your finger on the pulse of international student recruitment and marketing trends. Reporting to the Director for Recruitment, Marketing and Communications, your mission is to promote our flagship GBBA program, which is ranked #1 in France, and our new BSc in AI, Data and Management Sciences program through multiple channels, so as to attract quality students from the Asia-Pacific region. Duties & Responsibilities: Work in collaboration with the line manager, Academic Director and business development counterpart to develop, evaluate and optimize marketing strategies and tactics to generate quality leads for recruitment. Conduct market studies and benchmarking exercises to gather insights into market and pricing conditions, customer journey and behavior, as well as competitor activity in support of developing effective marketing campaigns. Create and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and market share. Produce well-written and appealing contents for B2C and B2B marketing purposes. Manage the use and distribution of online and offline marketing materials. Analyze market trends and prepare lead gen forecasts. Develop and implement nurturing and retention efforts to convert leads and retain admitted students. Drive signature events such as Open Day, case competition and business camp. Organize on-site and off-site information sessions, academic workshops and panel discussions. Promote the BBA programs in major education fairs and schools in key southeast Asian markets. Develop and manage annual marketing budget. Manage the Student Ambassador Program. Manage internal CRM system (Salesforce) and tracking system to improve marketing efforts. Prepare and present quarterly marketing reports to management. Provide support for related marketing events. Collaborate with the global marketing team based in the France campus. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. This is a non-exhaustive list of duties and will evolve with time. Qualifications We are looking for a suitable candidate with the following qualifications and competencies: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or similar. More than 3 years of marketing experience, complemented by strong knowledge of marketing channels and the tertiary education sector in Asia-Pacific region. Experience in market research and analysis, digital marketing and public presentation. Flair for creative copywriting and ability to generate contents in English and Chinese language. Experience in managing websites, online content and social media. Proficient in MS Office applications. Able to function independently and adaptable in a team environment. Meticulous, resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Able to undertake travel to attend overseas fairs and school visits. Outstanding project management, stakeholder management, communication, creative thinking and analytical skills. Previous experience working in an international environment and basic knowledge of Salesforce usage, marketing automation software (Marketo), web publishing software and email marketing platforms such as MailChimp will be advantageous.
