  • Managing the opening and closing of bank accounts and ensuring account decision making are in accorance to Internal DoA. In terms of banking administration, to ensure appropriate access rights are granted to various banking users.
  • Oversee bank and account management activities, including bank fee management, fulfilling banking regulations and tracking liquidity positions of APAC countries.
  • Leading initiatives to rational bank account structures
  • To support corporate financing decision in the form of cross-border debt and equity across various APAC countries by liaising with various banking relationship to ensure successful financing process.
  • Prior hand-on experience with the setup of manual payment file upload and knowledgeable with host-to-host connectivity between ERP and banking systems will be highly advantageous.
  • Assisting with initiatives to setup and optimise banking architecture hence prior hand-on experience in APAC specific liquidity structures will be highly advantageous.
  • Prior hand-on experience in Treasury Management System will be advantageous but not necessary
  • Prior hand-on experience with payment processing for various APAC markets will be advantageous.
Working Capital and Trade Finance
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and banks on the issuance of various kinds of guarantees such as Import Letter of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Banker\xe2\x80\x99s Guarantee (Bid/Performance Bond), Financial Guarantees and Parental Corporate Guarantee.
  • Must be capable to follow through the whole process from the issuance to tracking of banking commission paid, monitoring of expiry dates and renewal
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and manage the day-to-day use and monitoring of working capital trade tools such as supplier chain financing
  • Preparing monthly report on bank guarantees and other trade credit facilities report.
Debt-Management
  • Computing and monitoring the Group\xe2\x80\x99s external debt obligations and compliance to debt covenants on periodic basis
  • Monitoring and reporting the use of internal loan facilities and tracking headroom and periodic interest and commitment fee payments
Cash Management
  • Administer the short-term cash flow forecasting process for various APAC markets with the objective to ensure near term funding needs are always accurately captured.
  • Propose debt disbursements and funds transfers with Finance to ensure adequate near-term liquidity and minimizing interest cost.
Others
  • Depending on capability and experience , may take an advanced role in rolling out various Treasury projects.
  • Support various month end closing and reporting activities
Requirement
  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance or Economics with at least 5 years relevant experience in Treasury/ Corporate Finance is non-negotiable.
  • Strong understanding of cash management concepts, including cash position management and liquidity management and architecture.
  • Good understanding of money markets, banking regulations in terms of debts and equity investments or divestments in each APAC countries will be advantageous for the candidate.
  • Strong English communication skills, oral and written, is desirable
  • Mandarin language communication skill is essential for the role
  • A can-do attitude and strong work ethic is highly desirable.
  • Highly motivated with confidence to work and deliver with minimal supervision and a strong motivation to succeed
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Python will be a bonus.
