Job Description


What the role is:Reporting to the Head of Department (IT Audit), you will be responsible for conducting the continuous audit (CA) programme for the Tote Board Group, using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) developed by Group Internal Audit (GIA).What you will be working on:GIA has an established CA program to review betting data for continuous assurance on the completeness, validity and accuracy of key transactions. This is a dynamic and challenging role to provide a crucial third line of defense for assurance on gaming integrity. Specifically, the role involves:-Preparation and extraction of the data files required for each CA run;Scheduled execution of automated C++/Python scripts on extracted data;Generation of exception reports and Tableau dashboards for analysis and investigation;Preparation of audit reports on CA exceptions with recommendations;Documentation of the CA analysis and work done conducted in accordance to GIA\'s quality standards;Definition and development of new use cases for analysing data, as part of the continuous improvements/enhancements for the CA scripts.What we are looking for:We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys working with data and analysing data to detect patterns, outliers and anomalies.Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be keen to learn, be able to work independently, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.Good interpersonal, written and communication skills.Preferably trained in Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Management, Data Analytics and Visualisation, or a related field of study.Join us and help us to achieve our compelling vision of a caring and resilient Singapore.The successful candidate will be appointed into a position commensurate with his/her work experience.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About Tote Board:Established in 1988, Tote Board (Singapore Totalisator Board) is a statutory board of the Ministry of Finance.
