Job Description


Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Job duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage fact-finding investigations into workplace misconduct and non-compliance with policy/guidelines and employee grievances.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in proceedings and exercise sound judgment in handling or working with confidential data and situations.
  • Provide guidance and advice on employee risk matters, such as managing performance issues, and conflicts using various conflict management techniques, including mediation, coaching, etc.
  • Identify and monitor related trends/statistics, provide proactive recommendations to drive and promote positive industrial and employee relations in the organisation.
  • Develop, review and update HR policies on a timely basis to ensure they are in compliance with labour laws & aligned with organisational goals
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to lead implementation & communication of policy changes.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and changes in employment legislation and provide recommendations to enhance practices/processes in the organisation.
  • Develop effective relationships with HR Business Partners, other COEs as well as supporting business units to promote good employee relations across the organization.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience and proven track record of practical employee relations experience.
  • Experience in workplace policy development will be granted favourable consideration.
  • Strong knowledge of labout laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnership with internal clients and key stakeholders.
  • Confident, independent, dynamic, proactive, people and results oriented.
  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with sound judgement.
  • Strong team player.
  • Adaptable and flexible with high drive & commitment.
