What the role is:The IMDA Accreditation and Spark programmes seeks to nurture and grow promising Singapore-based digital technology companies of different growth stages. If you have the interests and passion for innovative and emerging digital technologies and can communicate with senior executives of high growth digital tech startups, we\'d like to have a chat with you.You will be part of the Enterprise & Ecosystem Development, a dynamic team made up of independent and self-motivated individuals, that works closely with senior executives of digital tech startups to bring them into the Accreditation and Spark programme, perform due diligence on the company to assess their credentials, and support their growth journey through developing new local and international market opportunities that will eventually help them establish track records.You will also collaborate with both local and international industry partners, Government agencies and internal IMDA divisions to support the growth of these companies in the Accreditation and Spark programmes, with the aim to drive Singapore\'s digital transformation using best in class local-based technology solutions.Responsibilities

• Perform financial reviews and commercial due diligence on companies\' background, financials, and operations, to interpret findings and prepare recommendations for approvals
• Engage the CXOs of these high-tech companies to develop high growth plans, mapping out their growth path potential and needs and implementing these corporate growth strategies through the creation of strategic partnerships
• Work across various IMDA programmes and with internal stakeholders to coordinate/manage accredited companies\' activities
• Facilitate fund raising/M&A/sell side activities for these high-tech companies
• Build and manage origination channels and curate high tech companies that have the potential to be accredited

Requirements

• Background in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or Economics preferred
• Minimally 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big Four environment
• Familiarity with financial modelling
• Familiarity with start-up business lifecycle, as well as fund raising activities for tech startups and technology markets would be advantageous
• High degree of personal initiative, flexibility and positive attitude to handle the team\'s dynamic scope of accreditation activities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commercially-savvy
