We believe everyone should have equal opportunities and develop to their fullest potential in their careers.Embark on an exciting lifelong journey with us in making a positive difference in your career and serving our society.For more information on Singapore University of Social Sciences, please visit .About the RoleThe Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) Entrepreneurship, Student SUcceSS Centre, is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager.What You Will Be DoingWorking closely with the Head (Entrepreneurship), you will develop and conduct entrepreneurship programmes and initiatives.Perform gap-analysis on knowledge and skills gaps for entrepreneurial students with special needsDevelop partnerships with relevant organisations to identify training needs or other potential collaboration opportunitiesDesign and drive programme to build startupsDevelop and execute strategy for outreach to students with special needsMentor startups in entrepreneurship programmes by managing their milestones and progressConduct evaluation and assessment of startupsManage data and reports to key stakeholders and fundersOther ResponsibilitiesDrive community building initiatives and manage relationship development of community of startups, mentors, partners, corporates and alumniProvide coaching and advisory support for fundraising and grant application activityAssist in overseas expansion and/or incorporation of startups locally and in the region, especially in ASEAN, China and IndiaUndertake secondary appointments or duties in SUSS as requiredJob RequirementsWe are looking for candidates who are passionate about entrepreneurship, have awareness of current and emerging practices in the startup industry, are committed to help guide and mentor startups and aspiring entrepreneurs, and can fulfil operational and administrative duties.Candidates should be intellectually nimble, have an eye for collaborative possibilities and the ability to tackle challenging situations with finesse and determination. A willingness to travel is also expected. Candidate should also have a good understanding of the special needs ecosystem. Prior experience e.g. with a start up, VC/incubator, special needs community and/or in building and managing a community is a plus.
