Job Description

What the role is:As an integral member of our Financial Reporting team, you will play a key role in ensuring the sound internal control and compliance with statutes, policies and accounting standards.What you will be working on:You will be involved in the preparation of statutory financial statements and management accounts, fixed assets accounting and GST reporting. Besides the formulation of financial policies and procedures, you will also interact closely with our business units to provide financial advice and insights to facilitate business decision making. This role provides you the opportunities to: Work closely with internal business units and external Ministries/Statutory Boards/Government Agencies for grant related submission. Gatekeep, manage and govern JTC's fixed assets. FRS applications towards lease arrangement, business combination for group consolidation, financial instruments for investments, to name a few.What we are looking for:

• Background in Accounting, Audit, or other relevant professional qualifications with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skill and knowledge in analytics tools like Tableau will be an advantage. Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure as well as possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable to ask relevant questions and manage external ministries and government agencies. An effective team player and the ability to work independently.
