What the role is
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance Services Department (FSD) in Finance Division (FD), you will be responsible for the following: • Work closely with departments on debt arrears management • Perform and manage debt recovery actions and ensure SOP is complied • Ensure proper and timely refund of deposits to terminated accounts • Prepare submissions of financial information/returns to management and external authorities by the given deadlines. • Ensure payments for departments are processed and certified promptly and the payment policies and procedures are complied. • Attend to audit queries and prepare year-end audit schedules and reconcile to general ledger • Supervise staff and handle any other matters as assigned, such as conducting process reviews and data analytics.

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities: • A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant working experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task • Independent, resourceful and self-motivated • Team player with good interpersonal skills • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines • You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
