In this role, you will drive manpower development through policy analysis, formulation, and planning for the social service sector to ensure a competent and future-ready workforce, especially for key professions.What you will be working on:Drive manpower development through policy analysis, formulation, and planning for the social service sector to ensure a competent and future-ready workforce, especially for key professions. Key Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct deep-dive analyses and identify gaps and weaknesses in sector manpower with regard to skills, training needs, progression pathways and profession-specific issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive and coordinate tripartite discussions between government, academia and industry to ensure that manpower development programmes and initiatives keep pace with the needs of social service agencies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conceptualise and formulate comprehensive jobs and skills strategies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop/review policies on support for professional and leadership development.What we are looking for:

• Tertiary education in a related discipline, with interest in the social sector. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of Singapore\'s social service sector/ landscape would be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Creative, analytical, resourceful and highly motivated. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong systems-thinking and policy development skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong written and verbal communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working with people of all levels and able to build good collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective team player with good team and project management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to translate policy considerations into implementation, balancing strategic policy objectives with practical ground realities.
