Job Description

:

• This position is for SMU Academy (SMUA).
• Manage a team of 9 staff and over 100 part-time SMU Student Assistants to provide course support and administrative support to trainers and learners.
• Partner our SMUA Pillars to drive operational excellence, facilitate educational growth, and maintain a high standard of service excellence.
• Drive the optimal performance and efficient running of daily operations in accordance with established SOPs and requirements of stakeholders.
• Oversee and optimize essential functions related to operations, planning, catering, logistics, procurement, and course support.
• Walk-the-ground to engage our stakeholders and ensure daily operations are smooth.
• Review the learners\' feedback and identify areas for improvement in food quality, logistics, or customer service.
• Occasionally need to support programmes that are conducted outside normal office hours. Flexible off days will be compensated for such work deployment.

Qualifications:

• Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience in managing a team.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication (written and verbal), negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Keen to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, optimization and digitalization.
• Familiarity with Training Management System (TMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) will be advantageous.
