Job Mission

The Assistant Marketing Manager is a key support to the Watches & Fine Jewellery Marketing Manager to develop, adapt and execute the business strategy.

Drive and develop the Watch and Fine Jewellery long-term image, visibility and legitimacy in Singapore through a 360 client-centric mindset to grow the overall client database, with strong collaboration with the Fashion division.

Raise Singapore as a center of excellence for Client Strategy and Engagement.

Support the sales ambitions with tactical boutique animations and brand image moments, according to the business strategy and needs.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all client and marketing activities are in line with brand image and local business needs and synergized across all touch points.

Foster regular communication of marketing and client insights topics with cross-functional teams and other divisions to ensure clear understanding, alignment of objectives, and prioritize the client experience.

  • Client Engagement and Development
Support Marketing Manager in defining the annual client strategy, guidelines, action plan and implementation to drive local business objectives in sync with the global vision.
  • Strategize, create and drive a client targeting plan leveraging on 1-1 and 1-many client tools to support collection orchestrations and event activations and working closely with communications and two other divisions to align
  • Manage start to finish all CRM campaigns online and offline
  • Confirm needs for all CRM campaigns (targeting, assets, deduplication, planning) to brief third-party vendors
  • Align locally with other divisions on the CRM calendar, with a one-house approach
  • Ensure seamless execution of CRM campaigns according to approved requirements.
  • Collaborate with CEM in boutique to plan, execute and continuously seek to elevate the client loyalty program: Birthday/ Special Occasion/ Year End gifting, meals and experiences, personalization of top/ high-end client development treatment
  • Participate in the deployment of local/regional/global digital retail projects to ensure it meets our local and division needs (OAB, iCoco updates, Pioneer, online services etc)
  • Ensure client data is kept confidential, safe, private and managed in line with PDPA laws
  • Offer ultimate level of customer experience through curating all High Jewelry events/trips with personalized and exclusive treatment, in strong collaboration with the CEM
  • Marketing and Events Management
Work closely with all cross-functional parties - Retail, Product, VM, Learning, Business Insights, Boutique - to ensure all client and event objectives are clearly communicated, ensure a strong delivery and execution, with meticulous planning and eye for detail focused on the client journey in each activation.
  • Establish clear communication of all activations with an orchestration summary, objectives and action plan to ensure all cross-functional and boutique teams alignment and clarity for seamless execution
  • Support Marketing Manager in the planning and execution for out-of-boutique events, from start to finish
  • In collaboration with the Assistant MPOS Manager, steer all in-boutique collection launches with cross-functional parties from start to finish
  • Analysis, Insights and Reports Delivery
Work closely with The Agency local partners to generate meaningful insights to support continuous client development and identify opportunities with actionable recommendations to ensure business goals are on track and support the 1-1 client development.
  • Support each client initiative, activation and event by developing ROI reports, analysis of key findings and learnings, feedback from clients and the boutique, concrete next steps and recommendations
  • Leverage internal agency to develop insights on client database to identify opportunities and threats in order to develop executable actions to ensure the long-term health of the client database
  • Support Marketing Manager and retail teams to set, track and review CEM KPIs based on business objectives
  • Support Marketing Managers on annual Strategic Planning proposals and budget planning
  • Financial and Operations Management
  • Ensure clear overview of the WFJ calendar and align with fashion to manage client activations from a client targeting, engagement and contact point of view, paying special attention to ensure no over contact of client and clash of campaigns
  • Manage A&P budget documentation and ensure clear synchronization of budget vs. expenses
  • Monitor budget on a monthly basis, working closely with finance teams to ensure alignment with financial cycles and manage all financial operations
  • Procure all marketing, event, client engagement, collection/ product tools to support all activations
  • Work with WFJ CEM to maintain a clear and accurate inventory of tools in DC, office, florist, mailing house, wine and champagne distributor
Person Specifications:

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, meticulous and possess strong project management skills, with at least 2 years work experience preferably in similar capacity. This position will require the individual to be comfortable to adapt and evolve to support the dynamic business needs, and work closely with multiple stakeholders inside and out of the organisation.

As such, the successful candidate should be agile, resilient, a team player with strong communication skills and a passion for luxury.

Required Competencies:
  • Preferably university graduate (major in Marketing will have an advantage)
  • Min. 2 years working experience, preferably in CRM, Marketing, Luxury
  • Experience in salesforce.com technology, especially in the Marketing Cloud module or any other campaign management platform is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills: able to draw sound conclusions from data and generate relevant action plans
  • Team player who can engage, communicate and influence people: strong interpersonal skills are critical
  • Self-starter and highly self-motivated, meticulous and attention to detail
  • Creative and able to think out of the box, open to changes, keen interest in learning and a strong sense of curiosity
  • Strong organization skills: able to think structurally, logically and systematically
