Job description

The Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 Operations supports the day-to-day functions and general maintenance of the Home. The incumbent ensures that the Home\xe2\x80\x99s equipment, gadgets and instruments are maintained at optimal functioning level at all times. This position must ensure that safety precautions are taken in the course of his/her work.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ground Maintenance

• Ensure that the drainage around the garden and within the Home is cleared of all debris and stagnant water
• Take care of the gardens inclusive of grass-cutting, watering, weeding, etc.

• Conduct general repair and maintenance of wheelchair and equipment
• Conduct general maintenance of the premises
• Maintenance of nursing equipment e.g. autoclave, oxygen concentrator, nebulizer and air compressor (gym and dental).
• Prepare and arrange rooms in the Home for different functions.
• Report to the Reporting Officer of any equipment malfunction or breakdown

• Assist the Senior Executive \xe2\x80\x93 Operations in asset movement and labelling of assets
• Assist the Storekeeper where required in inventory management e.g. receiving stocks, weekly distribution of supplies to wards
• Update Storekeeper on stock level and replenishment where required
• Assist the Senior Executive \xe2\x80\x93 Operations / Driver where required in management, delivery and/or collection of goods and donations.

• Cover the security and customer service duties of the security officer or Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 Admin in his/her absence.
• Cover driving and dispatch duties in the absence of Driver if the incumbent had valid driving license.
• Participate as a member of the Home\xe2\x80\x99s Fire Safety Committee
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Executive \xe2\x80\x93 Operations, Senior Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Operations or Head of Centre.

• Minimum Primary School Education
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Possess valid Class 3 Driving License is preferred but not mandatory due to assisting in delivery of food to our nursing homes.
