Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key stakeholders for global and local vendors.
Source, evaluate, and select vendors for container terminal and port marine services procurement via RFQs, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to sustainability procurement guidelines.
Conduct total cost analysis, monitor rebates, discounts, volume, and trend reporting, as well as budgeting.
Analyze business performance to provide insightful data for effective decision-making.
Monitor procurement KPIs for agency performance, collaborating with agencies to achieve and improve these KPIs.
Engage with vendors and agencies to resolve issues and improve processes.
Manage vendor agreements and liaise with internal teams (operations, marine insurance, legal, trade, network) for contract reviews.
Actively participate in projects, including preparation of presentation materials.
Identify cost anomalies and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize procurement costs.
Develop and introduce dashboards for cost visualization to aid in decision-making.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent.
3-5 years of relevant experience in a shipping line environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Applications, with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
Experience in compliance and sustainability procurement.
