Job Description

Position: Assistant Project Manager (A&A)

Salary: $4,500 - $5,500

Location: North

Working Hours / Days: 8.30am - 5.30pm / 9.00am - 6.00pm (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth take-over and hand over of sits
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress and ensure that timelines, workmanship, safety and technical aspects are met in accordance to requirements
• Ensure all works meet quality standards and government regulations
• Manage and resolve the daily operation issues during the project execution and mitigate delays as and when it arises
• Evaluate and verify progress claims /variations / invoices submitted by the consultants/contractors
• Attend regular meetings with management/consultants/contractors and provide updated reports on the project status
• Inspect off-site fabrication and on-site installation
• Coordinate effectively with end-users to minimize inconvenience in business as usual environment

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in Greenfield / Upgrading / Refurbishment projects
• Min Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building or Project Management
• Project management experience across a range of disciplines, contract and procurement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to read design drawings, architectural / technical and shop drawings
• Good level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work with consultants and manage contractors effectively
• Self motivated and results oriented
• Able to achieve targets and meet deadline
