Job Description

Assistant Manager for Purchasing under the direct supervision of the CEO, the Asst. Manager for Purchasing is responsible for planning and management of the purchasing and procurement aspects of the company. He/she Provides recommendations, suggestions and other alternative courses towards the betterment of operation.:Strategic Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist to plan, direct, organize and control the work of the Purchasing Department.
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of the purchasing and supply chain policies.
  • In-charge to control major purchases and make certain that the procurement of materials and services comply with the Purchasing Guidelines.
  • Oversee the updates with the new materials and techniques.
  • Recommend more cost-effective measures for supply chain and purchasing across all departments.
  • Thoroughly understand the materials and service needs of the Company.
  • Establish a reliable supply sources and back-up sources to ensure uninterrupted operations of business
  • Assist to solicit competitive bids and award contracts on the basis of profitability, emphasizing quality and ability to deliver.
Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Purchase Orders for Niv Della Brands
  • Coordinate and communicate with local and international suppliers for all purchasing activities
  • Forecast monthly SKUS for double-double sales and launches
  • Coordinate with Forwarders for monitoring of all international shipments (schedule shipment, pick-up with supplier, etd and eta to PH and customs releasing)
  • Coordinate with Logistics Dept. for all pick-up, deliveries, inventory and warehouse allocations for all SKUS
  • Align with Finance Dept. for budget allocations for all purchasing activities
  • Monitor the production schedules with suppliers and negotiate lead time
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Prod. Dev and Logistics of all SKU availability
  • Monitor Inventory Sheet to avoid Out-of-Stock SKUS
  • Ensure availability of all components required for finished goods of SKUS (e.g. Packaging, Pouches, Printables etc.)
  • Coordinate with Product Development for new product and redevelopment supply needs.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Extensive computer skills
