About the Roles

We are seeking an Assistant Purchasing Officer to support a well-established manufacturer specializing in electrical power distribution, control, and automation systems. Based in Tuas Crescent, this

contract role (4-6 months) offers transport provided, a competitive salary of up to $3,500, and regular weekday working hours (Monday-Friday, 8.15am - 5.45pm)

. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable procurement experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Handle purchasing of materials both locally and overseas, including preparing and processing purchase orders. Monitor delivery schedules and update shipment status to ensure timely arrival of goods for production. Provide administrative assistance to the Purchasing Manager and Officer. Generate monthly procurement reports and maintain the approved supplier list. Support procurement activities such as sourcing, negotiation, follow-ups, and expediting orders. Maintain accurate filing of purchasing records and documentation. Ensure the purchasing office remains neat and organized. Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures. Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

What We're Looking For

Minimum O Levels qualification. At least 1 year of purchasing experience, preferably in sourcing electrical components and spares within a manufacturing or electrical services company.
