What the role is:
The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) is seeking forward thinking individuals to join as Assistant Regulatory Manager, of the Tobacco Regulation Branch, to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and IT skills, with the ability to develop automation solutions. Experience in law enforcement will be considered an advantage.
What you will be working on:
As part of the team, your key duties and responsibilities include:

• Manage and supervise outsourced contractors, ensuring quality and compliance
• Oversee administrative functions, including office management, secretarial duties, data entry, and procurement processes
• Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
• Conduct advanced data analytics to inform decision-making and strategy
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes.
• Analyze data to improve contractor performance and efficiency.
• Provide support in law enforcement-related tasks, if applicable.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in contractor management and supervision
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
• Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience in data analysis and IT, with a focus on automation will be advantageous
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, etc.) will be advantageous
• Experience in law enforcement is a plus.
