Assistant Restaurant Manager (omakase)

Job Description


Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in restaurant’s daily operation duties, including but not limited to taking orders, serving food and beverages, cashiering, attending to reservations calls
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety standards of the restaurant premises
  • Respond to customers’ requests and feedback in an expeditious and professional manner
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily sales collection and petty cash claims
  • Manage reservations and seating plans for diners
  • Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of Japanese cuisine / fine-dining experience, in similar capacity
  • Fluency in the Japanese language will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge in Japanese cuisine and beverage
  • Basic PC literacy
  • Strict sense of hygiene and safety standards
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Willingness to work 6-day week, on split shift pattern
