We're Hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager

What You'll Be Responsible for:

1. Supervising & Leading


Directing and motivating staff members Onboarding new employees, providing ongoing training, and mentoring staff to improve performance. Creating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient operations. Providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
2. Operational Oversight:


Ensuring smooth opening and closing of the restaurant, including setting up, securing the premises, and balancing cash registers. Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for food and supplies, and managing inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability. Ensuring food is prepared and served according to established standards, and that health and safety regulations are followed. Handling customer complaints, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Reconciling daily sales, and managing expenses.
3. Communication and Coordination:


Relaying information from management to staff and vice versa, and ensuring clear communication between different teams (e.g., front-of-house and back-of-house). Interacting with suppliers, placing orders, and managing relationships with vendors. Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
4. Other Responsibilities:


Ensuring the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Following established guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. Assisting with various tasks and responsibilities as needed by the restaurant manager.
