Job Summary:
A Assistant Retail Manager supports the Butchery Manager in daily operations, ensuring quality meat cuts, food safety compliance, inventory control, customer service, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in cutting, portioning, labeling, and displaying meat products. Monitor stock, place orders, rotate inventory, and conduct stock checks. Maintain sanitation, ensure proper storage, and enforce safety standards. Advise customers on meat selection and cooking methods; address inquiries and complaints. Train, supervise, delegate tasks, and provide feedback to staff. Assist in promotions, track sales, and maintain records.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of meat cuts and processing Experience in meat cutting and trimming Strong customer service and leadership skills Understanding of food safety regulations * Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting
