Our client has been growing steadily with excellent infrastructure since 1950 and set up its first subsidiary in Singapore in 1976. Today, with worldwide operations, our client, has grown and evolved broadly their operations network in alignment to their Management Principles in order to provide to the customers, both locally and globally, an integrated logistics business partnering solutions. The company works in close partnership within their 27 companies in the Asian Network.Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales targets through promoting the Company's Forwarding Business.
  • Seek for new customers. Building pipelines, segmentation, and accurate forecasting in line with Company's services and strategy.
  • Identifies new business opportunities in airfreight/ sea freight, assesses customer needs, and matches these with Company's services to acquire new business for customers.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly updates reports on pipelines, target, budgeting achievement and review of new opportunities and business plan.
  • Act as the customers' main point of contact, by liaising closely with internal departments to ensure that their queries outside regular office hours, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately, and provide excellent services to customers
  • New Business Development (Hunter) 80 % and Current Account Sales Management (20%). Delivering volume and revenue targets for the Freight Forwarder sales channels while remaining focused on relationship building with customers for fostering profitable sales.
  • Responsible to provide our customers with the best possible solution to solve logistical issues.
  • Independently assess and handle requirements /orders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years customer-facing sales experience in freight forwarding industry with solid experience in customer acquisition and account management
  • Must possess strong selling, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent personal presentation and strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute sales generation
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to take initiative and prioritize work, while paying attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and solve problems independently
