:JOB OVERVIEWThis job requires the candidate to drive the Healthcare / Groceries sales and profitability of the Trading Division. He/she will support the Head and Associate Director of Trading, work closely with business partners and internal departments in all aspects of the business to achieve excellent and consistent service standards for the business.He/she will be responsible for generating weekly/monthly reports, analyze business performance, and ensure timely execution of business plans to maintain a competitive advantage to drive profitability growth. The candidate will support all business matters pertaining to sales, procurement, market shares, service levels and end-to-end stock management.The candidate is expected to have strong people management skills to lead, coach and guide the team, as well as managing our business partners and internal stakeholders. He/she should possess strong analytical skills, able to initiate and execute appropriate action plans to minimise any potential business disruptions.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide strategic leadership to the team with full profit & loss accountability to achieve the Healthcare and Groceries revenue targets and business goals.

  • Lead the Sales Team to drive the Healthcare and Groceries business
  • Responsible for both indoor and outdoor sales
  • New account penetrations for major local corporations/MNCs, develop new businesses, enlarge our network and customer base
  • Participate in the Tender submission, perform demonstrations and/or presentations as delegated by Management. Actively follow up to close the projects.
  • Prepare and provide quotation and invoices to clients, ensure both topline sales and profitability are achieved for every transaction.
  • Liaison with customer service, operations and logistic team, if needed.
  • To direct the planning and execution of progressive strategies to drive and achieve the commercial targets:
  • Sales / GP margin
  • Incomes
  • Operating Profit
  • Respective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify key profit drivers, analyse variance, initiate corrective actions and establish controls, where necessary.
  • Proactively monitor the end-to-end stock movement and suppliers\' service level to ensure optimum inventory level to support trading business and targets
  • Monthly review and execute clearance of non-returnable, aged & delisted goods within the business.
  • Understand the consumer directions, the product roadmap and goals and translate the needs to support the business plans.
  • Enforce adherence to legal and compliance guidelines, risk management processes, corporate policies, internal audits, SOPs and discipline to maintain the company\'s legality and business ethics.
  • Plan and execute both short and long term demand-driven event, marketing and promotions activities to deliver set targets and goals.
  • Ability to negotiate successful partnerships and shrew contractual agreements.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching and support, ensuring continuous development of the team in line with department and employee objectives.
Qualifications:REQUIREMENT
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent with minimum 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG and/or Healthcare industry.
  • Highly collaborative team player with excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent financial, modelling and data analytics skills with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications tailored to different groups of stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, motivated, meticulous and results oriented.
  • Resourceful and problem solver.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo and embrace changes.
