The Pan Pacific Orchard presents the pinnacle of design by award-winning WOHA, located in Singapore\'s prime district Orchard Road.

The 23-floor destination hotel redefines the city\'s landscape with four themed open-air terraces of distinctive design concepts - Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud.

Nestled amidst the Forest Terrace is new signature restaurant Mosella, which will introduce a sharing concept of Mediterranean cuisine with a refreshing Peruvian twist. The Beach Terrace will bring a resort-like experience to the heart of the city, and above, the Garden Terrace will be home to Florette, the Champagne & Oysters specialty bar. At the highest levels of the Cloud Terrace, level 18 will house Orchard\'s highest pillarless ballroom, Claymore Ballroom.

The Role

The Assistant Security Manager assist the Security Manager to ensure safety and security of Guests and Associates in the hotel and to protect the facilities and assets in the hotel.

Our Expectations:

• Deputises the Security Manager in his absence and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Security department.
• Ensures all patrolling, inspection and escort duties are performed to a high standard.

• Logs security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
• Assist to develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance by all stakeholders
• Conducts investigation into security and safety breaches. Recommend areas for improvements where appropriate.
• Assist to manage the outsourced security services partner and ensure compliance to contractual obligations and performance indicators.

• Be the point of contact with all government officials, ministries in relation to law enforcement, security and safety.

• Provides security training and awareness for the Hotel. Guide and coach both in-house and outsourced team on provision of professional security services.
• Together with the Security Manager and the appointed Fire Safety manager, conduct both table top and simulation exercises both in-house and in conjunction with the authotities to test operational readiness of the security team and all Associates.

Talent Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated Assistant Security Manager with excellent communication skills. A seasoned leader who is vigilant, able to think on his feet and has good judgement in dealing with complex situations. If you have at least 5 years of supervisory role in the security sector, preferably in the hospitality industry with experience in managing outsourced security services vendors, write in to have a chat with us!
