Duties & Responsibilities
Building Systems Management and Optimization:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of various building systems across the organization\'s portfolio.
• Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules and plans for building systems components, ensuring efficient performance and minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute maintenance activities and address system failures or malfunctions promptly.
• Manage contracts with third-party service providers for building systems maintenance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in building systems technologies, assessing their potential impact on organizational operations.
• Implement monitoring tools and analytics to track performance, identify optimization opportunities, and maximize energy efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for performance improvement and sustainability enhancements across building systems.
• Implement measures to optimize performance, including fine-tuning control algorithms, adjusting setpoints, and optimizing scheduling.
• Collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate energy-saving strategies and green initiatives into building systems operations.
• Provide training and technical support to facility management teams and end-users on building systems operation, optimization techniques, and sustainability practices.

Design Integration and Compliance:

• Collaborate with project teams during pre-construction to develop design specifications and requirements for the integration of building systems into new building projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to ensure compatibility and interoperability of building systems with each other and with other building components.
• Develop and maintain documentation, user manuals, and SOPs for building systems operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing building systems installation and operation.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for building systems installations and modifications.
• Integrate sustainable design principles into building systems integration plans, focusing on energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental stewardship.
• Monitor and evaluate the environmental impact of building systems operations, identifying opportunities for sustainable improvements and minimizing carbon footprint.
• Collaborate with sustainability teams to achieve green building certifications and meet sustainability goals through building systems optimization and performance enhancements.

QualificationsRequirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related Computing Engineering.

Years of Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience, with project experience

Knowledge / Skills (preferred)

• Proactive and cheerful team player with the ability to work independently
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical & electrical trades with sustainability and performance as key motivators in M&E design
• Prior experience in implementing Smart digital technologies for M&E services is a bonus
• Competent in data analytics in M&E systems domain for predictive and prescriptive maintenance
• Strong M&E works site installation knowledge with the ability to provide practical solutions related to site installation
• Good knowledge of Local Code/Regulation pertaining to M&E services, building construction, facilities management, and safety
• Advantageous to be accredited Green Mark AP, GMAP(FM), SCEM, or EEOA
• Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly and propose countermeasures to settle the issues
• Experienced with the servicing and maintaining Built Environment Systems such as but not limited to: Building Management Systems / Computerized Maintenance Management System / Integrated Operations Command Centre is a plus
• Competent in MS Office applications
