Job Title: Assistant Supply Chain Manager

Location: Singapore 048616

Contract and shift details: Permanent, 40 hours a week

Have you got experience with Ocean Freight, importing and exporting from the USA to ASPAC countries? If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our team!

As our Assistant Supply Chain Manager you will lead the procurement and local production operation for our ASAPC Supply Chain, including S&OP processes in line with our Global strategy for Betaine Products. You will be key to our process and ongoing relationships with warehousing, 3PL Logistics Providers and suppliers working closely with our team in the USA as they export goods directly to our customers across the ASAPC region.

Ocean Freight experience will be key to this role to understand both import and export requirements. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers
  • Implementation of Service Level Agreements
  • Ensuring cost and service performance are optimised
  • Manage local blending production, procurement, 3rd party warehouse, inbound and outbound logistics in line with business targets
  • Cost and compliance controls and budget management (multimillion USD$)
  • Cost optimisation, reduction producing contract, pricing and invoicing
  • Working closely with management teams in ASPAC to understand upcoming demands, risks and development
  • Analysis of historical sales trends vs actual sales targets and forecasts
  • Production of reports and insights with KPI\'s to identify opportunities
  • Continuous process improvements
This is a great opportunity for someone with good working knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics with Ocean Freight experience to join a well-established growing business working with an international team.

To be successful in this role some of the things we are looking for:
  • Degree level or equivalent in Business Management, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent supply chain experience.
  • Understanding of ERP systems ideally D365
  • Experience with transport planning and transportation from global suppliers
  • Experience with supplier relationship management and negotiation
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
Location

For this role we are offering a Hybrid working approach 50:50 in office to remote working from our office in Singapore. We work internationally so some flexibility may be required to support stakeholders in different time zones.
