Our client is seeking an Assistant Trade Finance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Trade Finance Manager to oversee the company\'s financial operations related to the company\'s trading of oil and gas commodities. The role involves managing trade finance documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and assisting with trade finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the documentation related to trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bills of lading, and other trade finance documents.
- Ensure that all trade finance operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with the Trade Finance Manager to monitor the company\'s trade finance activities and provide regular reports.
- Assist with the management of the company\'s relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure the smooth execution of trade finance transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in trade finance regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations to improve the company\'s trade finance operations.
- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in trade finance, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of trade finance regulations and best practices.
- Experience with letters of credit, bills of lading, and other trade finance documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
