Work with individual departments such as QHSE, Administrative, Food Services, Control Room and Catering to ensure that all the service deliverables are carried out as per the set standards and/ or terms and conditions agreed upon with the client and/ or contract.
Attend to day-to-day operational problems and needs concerning but not limited to equipment, staff, food supplies, documentation, safety, deployment and trainings.
Ensure that safety and hygiene policy in terms of implementation, reporting, documentation etc is strictly followed by self and other members of the team.
If required, work with the logistics officer to oversee ordering of raw materials through ERP system, validating the quality of the products ordered/ incoming goods and do stock take and checks.
Ensure that all the systems and processes are implemented and followed as per the company policy.
Wherever required, Co-ordinate with the HR, QHSE and Legal departments to ensure that all the legal compliances, certifications and accreditations are met with and a copy of the same is maintained.
Stay in close communication with the client for all issues assigned by the manager regarding services, additional business, new initiatives and hygiene and document the same.
Manage, documents and do the needful to attain/ maintain mandatory certifications/ accreditations such as Halal certification, NEA, BCP procedures, fire safety processes and conduct necessary audits (internal, external and contractual) on site.
Work with teams (assigned) to manage their rosters, deployments, overtime, productivity, initiatives, HR processes and welfare activities.
Play mandatory role in charting out training needs for the staff in various departments, maintain calendar/ documentation and train staff wherever applicable.
Promote a healthy and teamwork oriented atmosphere within his operations.
If required, be responsible for accurate control, handover and deposition of cash; maintain accurately all the specified cash control documents, invoicing and follow up on ageing balances.
Work with various teams to gather customer feedback ( based on a proper schedule) inclusive of but not limited to patients and staff and perform service recovery whenever needed.
Work with management to do the needful when it comes to implementation of initiatives and Sodexo's internal programs.
Monitor portioning, meal accuracy and right stacking of food during belting periods.
Facilitate conflict resolution among staff, if needed.
Complete documentation and paperwork promptly without follow-ups.
Any other duties as may be required by the Account Manager or the Management.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Minimum Diploma in Food & Beverage Management or an equivalent educational qualification.
Possess at least 3 years of supervisory experience in Food Service industry or equivalent.
Candidates with Healthcare experience esp. in Food and HSE will be given preference.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and should be able to do simple data analysis, preparation of reports, charts, KPI, dashboard, presentations etc.
Sound written and verbal communication skills.
An excellent team player.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Well-groomed and able to represent Sodexo in a professional manner.
