This role will also involve administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, as well as complying with insurance laws and regulations, rating rules and models.Duties and Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the ambitious and profitable growth of the Accident & Health book, and developing the accompanying growth strategy\xc2\xb7 Responsible for product development and working with distribution channels to develop Accident & Health business\xc2\xb7 Accountable for growth and leadership of the Singapore A&H underwriting team\xc2\xb7 Performing technical underwriting of Accident & Health products across a range of risk sizes, within the authorized framework\xc2\xb7 Assisting in streamlining internal processes, policy administration, premium collection and automation initiatives\xc2\xb7 Generating various types of reporting to monitor the portfolio in different segments and under various metrics\xc2\xb7 Supervising the booking of risks across different accounts, and supporting credit control activities whenever it is necessary\xc2\xb7 Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues to address technical referrals, and raise standards and expertise across the technical community\xc2\xb7 Managing customer interactions in an efficient, courteous and timely manner, in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfactionKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirement:\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Accident & Health insurance\xc2\xb7 Capable of underwriting complex A&H cases independently\xc2\xb7 Experience in developing business opportunities through intermediaries\xc2\xb7 Experience in product development in A&H and Personal Lines\xc2\xb7 Possesses strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skillsWorking at Allied WorldOur team of over 1,400 professionals has deep expertise in the industry.
