Job Description


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure monthly/quarterly/half year reporting timelines are met
  • Provide monthly/quarterly/half yearly reporting pack to the Group including but not limited to AR aging report, top 10 customers, daily sales turnover, provision of doubtful debts, balance sheet schedules, lease commitments etc.
  • Review group consolidated accounts
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements for group consolidated accounts on a tight timeline basis to JV partner
  • Involve in group annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting process.
  • Prepare and review statutory reports.
  • Manage Group cash flow projection and cash flow management
  • Be part of the team responsible for establishing, reviewing and updating of group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
  • Responsible for all accounting functions including payables, billing, credit control and management and general accounting.
  • Act as a business partner to the business team on a range of issues to support the development of the business.
  • Prepare and review Transfer Pricing Documentation
  • Ensure statutory FS and annual tax returns are filed on time.
  • Lead in the development and refinement of accounting procedures, processes and system to ensure compliance with corporate governance and risk management.
  • Train, develop and coach the finance team within the International Business Finance Group including overseas subsidiaries
  • Liaison with Auditors, Tax advisors, Internal Support Function teams such as Treasury, Legal and Co Sec, Group Finance etc.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy/ACCA holder or equivalent.
  • Possessing CPA qualification will be a definite advantage.
  • Good knowledge on FRS, consolidation requirements.
  • Audit experience will be highly regarded.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on group consolidation experience is essential.
  • Meticulous, analytical, matured, independent, and able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive learning attitude and willing to take on additional roles when required.
