Assistant Vice President, Ghr Shared Services Delivery (hrsd)

Job Description

This role will be a Lead of the HR Shared Services team in supporting the employee life cycle activities, delivering HR and/or Payroll & Claims services.

The role will report to the Head of HR Shared Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will involve the following:

  • Support employee lifecycle processing - onboarding, generating contracts, managing training data, leave management, employee data management in Workday for confidential/HR team members.
  • Subject matter expert in Work Passes/ Foreign Workers Management, Staff Benefits, Leave, L&D operations, Workmen Compensation and both pre-boarding & onboarding for new hires.
  • Partner with COE leaders to strengthen compliance by implementing required controls.
  • Co-ordinate Control Self-Assessment and point of contact for bi-annual audits.
  • Implement initiatives and programmes to strengthen HR processes and policies.
  • Support annual compliance declaration activities.
  • Collaborate and build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and departments as well as external parties, particularly Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and other government offices.
  • Supervise the team to ensure that tasks and enquiries are resolved and completed on time to meet the service level agreements (SLA).
REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate with broad functional knowledge of HR processes.
  • Candidate with In-depth technical competencies in Workday will be preferred.
  • Creates collaborative working relationship with internal partners, external vendors.
  • Experience in implementing continuous process improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
  • Strong and meticulous team lead with good interpersonal skills who can work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Conversant with HR practices and knowledge of the Employment Act and statutory requirements in relations to employment.
  • Resourceful, strong analytical skills and able to think operationally and strategically, as well as self-driven, resilient, hands-on problem-solver.
  • Possess high degree of confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in related discipline with min. 10 years of relevant working experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in leading a team of 4-5 of HR generalists
