The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored on creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
The AVP of HR Shared Services is responsible for the efficient operations of Employee Life-Cycle Management including HR Advisory, Staff Data Management, Audit & Compliance, HR Operations and Payroll. The role will ensure that the HR processes are performed in accordance with set procedures and in compliance with company governance and local statutory requirements. The role will report to Deputy Vice President, Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services (HRSS) team to ensure services are delivered to agreed service levels and all regulatory and compliance requirements are met
Responsible for the management of the central document/knowledge repository and relevant standards and methodologies related to HR Operations
Support, develop and train the HRSS team on systems and processes. Serve as an escalation point to resolve complex issues for team members
Simplify, re-engineer and automate processes to drive efficiencies and reduce complexity and cost effective
Build strong working partnership with HRBPs and COEs to deliver efficient and quality HR services to the Business
Review feedback to identify improvement areas and derive action plans.
Foster teamwork, coach, and provide effective feedback within the HRSS team
Create a culture of continuous process improvements within the team
Participate and/or lead any other ad-hoc projects/tasks as and when required
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree with minimum of 10 years\' related experience of working in a HR Operations/HR Shared Service model with at least 5 years in a managerial role
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong partnership with stakeholder. Ability to influence others, possess analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to simplify and interpret complex situations or documents and formulate an opinion for solutioning
Passionate about identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, providing recommendations on suggested approaches
Demonstrated ability to respond promptly, thoughtfully and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations
Able to rapidly learn technical and business techniques and knowledge
Able to handle high volume of work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
