The main role and responsibilities for the AVP, International Hub Operations:

Manage and Oversee all Hub and Sorting Operational locations within SingPost and its International units in Singapore and offshore
Manage the day to day Operations to meet the Operational KPIs in each Location.
Ensure each location comply and meet the Safety, Security and other Policy and regulatory related requirements

The AVP is accountable for running the daily operations in the Hub Operations in Singapore and Offshore, with key focus areas stated in below.

Standards – Reviews Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Operating Plans with all Operations Management Team
Process and Procedures – Identify systemic and chronic processes and works with stakeholders to correct them with Digitalization, Wastage reduction and sustainability initiatives, where applicable.
BCP Planning – reviewing BCP plans with the current environment
Process Management – Visual Management, Method assessment and implementing best practices
Service Quality – KPI reviews, Vendor Management and Corrective Action Plans and Continuous improvement implementation
Cost & Productivity Management – Remove wastages and manage cost
Compliance to Regulatory procedures – Operations adheres and complies to Security, MOM, Safety, Postal and other regulatory procedures.
