Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with main contractor, fitout contractor, design consultants and/or other relevant specialists/vendors to ensure effective and efficient construction management of specialised interior works, including multimedia, ride and show systems set-up
  • To manage the project by providing support and guidance on the following areas:
- Review project schedule, quality and cost deliverables.
- Regular (daily, weekly, monthly) updating and reporting of project performance and progress.
- Value engineering and management.
- Feasibility studies and presentations to senior management.
- Risk analysis evaluations and mitigation plan.
- Ensuring quality and proper construction techniques and implementation.
- HSE, scheduling and risk management.
- Documentation and administrative duties as assigned by DVP/VP/Project Director * Provide management on the following areas:

- Review and ensure all project compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Resolving project issues and problems including dispute resolutions.
- Ensuring processes and regulation practices are in order.
- Change management.
- Budget control.
- Design management and ensuring compliance to management\'s approved brief.
- Ensuring smooth handover and transition of project upon completion.
- Provide direction and instruction on project matters.
- Review, develop and manage project implementation process flows.
- Ensuring that all stakeholders undertand and adhere to contractual obligations.
- Overseeing project KPIs.
- Provide regular updates, reports, recommendations and analysis to management.
- Manage defects and outstanding works upon completion.
- Review civil and structural design aspects of projects. * Other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum recognised SISV or Board of Engineers/Architects, Degree qualifications or higher in Quantity Surveying, Building/Architecture or Engineering (civil, structural, Mechanical, Electrical)
  • At least 10 years working experience (minimum 3 years working as an Architect/ Civil & Structural Engineer and/or managing projects as SO rep or SO)
  • Managed projects in the capacity of project manager/director, project architect/engineer (contractor, consultant) of at least SGP$50 million and above or as part of a team managing such projects of $100 million and above.
  • Experience in Exhibition Design, Theming Works, Rides & Shows Construction within the Theme Parks/Zoos/Events/ Museums/Attractions/Integrated Resort industries would be an added advantage
  • Experience in Singapore\'s form of contracts - SIA, PSSCOC, FIDIC, REDAS
  • Experience in managing relevant projects assisting the Superintending Officer (SO) or SO representative or Architect (in SIA form) or Assistant Package Administrator or Senior Engineer
  • Meticulous, organised and detail- oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in presentations
