Collectively, these areas define and deliver HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s technology strategy to support the Group\xe2\x80\x99s goals.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, CTO Enablement.Principal Responsibilities

  • To provide Desktop Infrastructural support and implementation of all technology/group-initiated Projects within End User Services coverage
  • To respond to Desktop/Network/Video Conferencing incidents and service requests including IMAC (Installation, Move, Add and Change) in a timely and accurate manner
  • To manage and prioritize all incidents/requests and escalation so as to maintain a high level of support service standard
  • To manage assigned projects within scope, schedule and budget
  • To act as gatekeeper against any infringement of Technology Risk and Threats, as well as an advisor on Technology requests from stakeholders
  • Deliver and operate business services that utilize appropriate infrastructure technology solutions such that they are fit for purpose, cost efficient and highly resilient, in collaboration with business and Technology stakeholders
  • To address/manage and improve end user customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations and experience in a demanding environment
Requirements
  • Possess good analytical/lateral thinking and desktop troubleshooting skills, good interpersonal/communication skills and customer service oriented
  • Have high degree of ownership and responsibility in managing day-to-day processes/change and possess leadership quality
  • Ability to perform project management tasks either as an individual or in a team
  • Ensures the completion and full sign off of Service Acceptance Non Functional Requirement controls for new or changes to Technology services, as well as ensuring compliance to the relevant Risk Controls and Standards
  • Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered client services
  • Support peers across IT to deliver functional and department goals in line with IT strategy, priorities and budgets
  • Must be innovative and have the initiative to perform assigned tasks
  • Willingness to commute within the country in carrying out daily BAU activities, and to station at different office locations as and when required
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and perform shift/weekend/overtime works when necessary. Be self-disciplined
  • Relevant qualification in the field of Information technology or with IT Desktop support related experience will be ideal
  • Proficient in the use of various Microsoft Office suites of applications
  • An inclination for systems related work is preferred
