We manage the risks arising from the Group\'s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profileJob ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Country and Credit Risk Management Division within Group Risk Management. You will be part of the team to support the Group\'s Basel initiatives. Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Analyze data and trends to prepare risk reports for management reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in projects (including user testing) to roll out management reporting or regulatory changes
  • Involved in the process to automate reporting functionalities
  • Assist in ad-hoc credit risk related assignments and projects
Job RequirementsPersonal Characteristics
  • A highly-motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • A committed team player, able to work with colleagues from various departments/divisions\xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate initiative to take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion
  • Possess the drive and energy to work around constraints to achieve required objectives
  • Resilient and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently as well as work under tight timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good written and spoken English
Technical Skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar or related function.
  • Able to clearly articulate and document procedures and processes\xe2\x80\xa2 Previous IT system knowledge and experience will have advantage. Able to understand new IT systems quickly both from the user and developer perspectives
  • Strong programming skills e.g. SAS/MBI/SQL or working experience in Basel 3, Moody\'s RiskAuthority will have advantage
