About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities
This role is responsible for delivering regional Wealth and Affluent segment marketing programmes and activities to support revenue growth, drive improvements in client experience and establish UOB\'s regional retail banking presence.

  • Lead the development and execution of wealth and affluent segment marketing campaigns and support local marketing counterparts to ensure the successful rollout of marketing activities and events.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across sales, segment and product teams in the bank to facilitate and execute campaigns to help drive client acquisition, deepen client engagement and promote portfolio quality and penetration.
  • This includes fostering close working partnerships with the regional marketing teams and supporting units, considering cultural, regulatory, and language differences to ensure alignment of messaging, best practices sharing and success transfer.
  • Manage and stage regional business and client events, seminars and webinars including sourcing of partners and gifting/premiums when required.
  • Negotiate and work effectively with creative and media agencies as well as other external vendors to ensure quality execution of client programmes.
  • Develop and manage the rollout of regional branding and marketing toolkits and timely dissemination of the bank\'s wealth advisory content to regional markets.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, track and optimize allocated regional marketing calendar and budgets to achieve agreed yearly business priorities.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Economics.
  • At least 5-8 years of Marketing and/or Communications experience in a financial institution (FI) or Wealth/HNW industry
  • Demonstrate creativity and the ability to express opinions on creative work.
  • Good project management skills - able to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communicator (written and spoken) who is personable and collaborative
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
