About the Department

The Strategic Communications and Brand function works closely with all functions across the Group to protect and to promote the reputation of UOB. Through our thought leadership, stakeholder and community engagement programmes, we ensure that UOB’s presence, relevance, insights and understanding are seen and felt by our colleagues and customers, wherever they are. We also strive to turn our customers into advocates through our consistent and considered approach in delivering reliable and distinctive customer service.

Job Responsibilities

A progressive and committed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) professional with the passion, creativity and strong sustainability skills to elevate the Bank’s reputation in corporate giving. Our flagship community programmes and relief efforts are designed to enrich lives, uplift communities and strengthen bonds sustainably in communities where we operate. • Profile the group’s international presence and its community involvement through integrated media communications, creative content development and collateral across a range of prominent channels.
• Drive strong social impact through our group-wide CSR Programme (UOB Heartbeat) that includes global / local events, fundraising, sponsorships, partnerships and community-based outreach.
• Deepen community engagement and build social inclusivity through corporate philanthropy, employee volunteerism and strategic partnerships, aligning to national agenda and corporate objectives.
• Support environmental sustainability programmes and communication plan that encourage bank-wide green practices
• Develop strong, quality relationships with community partners, educational institutions and business partners to multiply the impact of corporate giving.
• Ensure robust tracking of CSR activities and metrics to measure progress and impact. (Sustainability Reporting)
• Ensure strong governance, with all CSR executions aligned to the policies and regulations
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in CSR, with a heart for the community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent skills in content production (audio / visuals)
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Highly motivated and self-driven
• A passionate team player who collaborates well to demonstrate UOB as an exemplary corporate citizen
