JOB DESCRIPTION This is a contractual (learning & development) position. it is especially suitable for people seeking contractual work while maintaining a semi-retired lifestyle. We are looking for people who are already experts in Urban Farming or willing to commit to becoming an expert (through experience or training). This is an ongoing process and is a way of achieving work life balance. Duties and Responsibilities: . Deliver courses in accordance to training centre standards.. Review training and assessment materials and match them to learners' needs.. Prepare additional materials (if required).. Create a safe learner-centric environment for learners.. Use appropriate instructional methods for delivery.. Ensure that the subject is adequately covered and learning outcomes are met.. Demonstrate professional conduct consistent with the Adult Educator Code of Conduct and subject matter expertise. Requirements: . Minimum educational qualification: GCE O' Level. Minimum professional qualification: Completed several WSQ environment services modules. Those with relevant Urban Farming working and/or training experience will have a tremendous advantage. With at least two years of experience in the horticultural industry.. Must be WSQ ACTA or ACLP certified. . Good interpersonal and communication skills.. Willing to undertake assignments on weekdays, evenings, weekends and/or Public Holidays.. Able to work independently and without supervision.. Have strong work ethics and professional conduct. Be computer literate and conversant with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
