The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

As central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through the conduct of monetary policy and close macroeconomic surveillance and analysis. It manages Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and liquidity in the banking sector.

As an integrated financial supervisor, MAS fosters a sound financial services sector through its prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore \xe2\x80\x93 banks, insurers, capital market intermediaries, financial advisors, and stock exchanges. It is also responsible for well-functioning financial markets, sound conduct, and investor education.
MAS also works with the financial industry to promote Singapore as a dynamic international financial centre. It facilitates the development of infrastructure, adoption of technology, and upgrading of skills in the financial industry.

Play a leading role in MAS\xe2\x80\x99 AML/CFT risk surveillance effort

Collaborate with tech and data science partners to develop and enhance AML/CFT data analytics platforms, and use them to derive meaningful surveillance insights

Creatively deploy data analytics and other methods in thematic \xe2\x80\x9cdeep dives\xe2\x80\x9d on ML/TF areas of concern

Actively participate in the development of measures and plans to address emerging and major ML/TF risks

Work with financial institutions and other government agencies on projects to strengthen the detection and mitigation of ML/TF risks

Other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years in banking or financial services industry, preferably in AML/CFT roles

Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team

Proactive and self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in data analytics, mining and storytelling

Experience in software development and basic coding will be an advantage

You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
