We are looking for an Associate Business Analyst (12 months contract) to join the Asia Business Strategy and Transformation team based in Singapore.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?
Regional Initiatives include:
Support the Head of Strategy & Transformation with the development, execution and oversight of strategic priorities.
Support senior team members with ongoing projects and initiatives as part of the Asia distribution business.
Lead data analysis on sales across product set for the purposes of management information.
Lead the creation of presentation decks, business plans and regional narratives for management and Senior Executives.
Reporting
Respond to internal data requests for sales information \xe2\x80\x93 this requires acting as the central depository for sales information
Assess and collaborate with sales & data teams to create dashboards and other reporting tools for senior management
Prepare management reports and coordinate senior management requests for information
Process Improvements
To act as, or support the team for assigned initiatives, and have responsibility for the completion of assigned deliverables within cross-functional, strategic projects and programs
Interview, gather information and analyse business processes from all levels of the organisation to identify opportunities for efficiency gains
Lead the coordination of planning meetings and offsites with detailed minutes and action steps followed up.
Administrative
Assist in the planning and organisation of key meetings for the Head of Business Strategy & Transformation.
Supports the team for strategic and business planning process. (Regional goals and priorities)
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Law or Accounting is desired
Prior working experience in asset management is desired but not essential.
Self-starter with strong work ethic and genuine interest in learning
Keen interest in developing a career in asset management/business strategy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with senior management
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
