Roles & Responsibilities
Purpose of Job You will play a role in the reintegration process of offenders and ex-offenders by providing administrative support. You will work with partners (employers and other agencies) to assist ex-offenders in securing employment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Acts as the main contact person between employer, clients, and other stakeholders for assigned clients during job matching process.
• Liaises with employers to confirm the employment terms for assigned clients.
• Coordinates with prison officers for the successful administration of inmates on
• Community Based Programmes.
• Facilitates all employment-related communication and documentation including:

• Creating a standard mail merge with the information provided by relevant stakeholders.

• Calling clients and employers to confirm on employment details and resolve any discrepancy.

• Preparing Referral Letters to relevant stakeholders for successful job placement of clients.

• Responding to emails from employers and stakeholders.

• Updating of job placement records and other databases.

• Arranging interviews for clients who are unemployed.

Other Duties

• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma
• Relevant experience in office clerical and administrative
• support work and coordination.
• Experience in providing career advisory will be an advantage.
• Process drive, initiative and openness to embrace and lead change and deliver results
• Able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Good negotiation skills and able to multi-task.
• Working knowledge MS Office.
• Passion in serving the rehabilitation and aftercare sector.

Duration: 4 months
Salary: $2,295/mth
Working Hours: 8.15 am to 5.45 pm (Mon to Thur), 8.15 am to 5.15 pm (Fri)
