Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a growing Financial Institution who is currently growing their compliance team.
Job title: Associate
Department: Compliance
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, both internal and external, such as MAS IAC, MAS FRC Framework, and internal policies.
- Contribute to licensing processes for representatives and handle audit-related matters by liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Coordinate and prepare regulatory reporting submissions, including MAS Craft and SGX RMCQ, along with various Head Office reports.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to ensure the entity\'s compliance.
- Support the Compliance Review Program, Control Room matters, and provide advisory support to internal stakeholders on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory interpretation.
- A degree or professional qualification in accounting, business, law, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years\' compliance experience in Banking, Capital Markets, or the audit sector.
- Open to Big 4 candidates with experience in regulatory compliance
- In-depth understanding of relevant Singapore regulations, including the Securities and Futures Act/Regulations and MAS notices.
- Strong communication skills, judgment, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on effective implementation of control and compliance processes.
