Our key long-term impact pillars are: improving agricultural productivity, improved gender equity & social inclusion, decreased climate footprint and natural resource degradation.About the RoleAs an Associate, you will be working within a team to deliver agrifood innovation projects across Australia and the Indo-Pacific region. You will be supporting a range of stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 from early-stage startups to primary producers, and from multinational corporations to public sector leaders. Like peas in a pod, we\xe2\x80\x99re a small and tight team with necessarily big ambitions to grow and fulfil our mission to create tangible impact across the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.About You\xc2\xb7 What drives you: You love working across a high performing team, are super driven, and have a laugh along the way. You have an insatiable thirst to learn and don\xe2\x80\x99t just accept things at face-value.\xc2\xb7 Your professional profile: 1-4 years into your career in an Associate role and whilst you are thankful for the valuable skills you have learned in the business world; you are ready for your next challenge in a more hands-on and impactful environment.\xc2\xb7 Words, numbers, and people: You love a good excel model and enjoy turning complex concepts into succinct recommendations by simplifying technical jargon and effectively communicating to clients and stakeholders. You can perform cost/benefit analysis and work with emerging technology and software.\xc2\xb7 Areas you want to develop: You are self-motivated and want the opportunity to flourish in a role - to grow and make it your own. It is important to us that you are eager to grow with us, into progressively senior roles within our organisation. We have experienced consultants from organisations like McKinsey & Co. and Boston Consulting Group, former entrepreneurs, investors, and product owners who will continue to support you on your learning journey.RequirementsThe vast majority of your time (60-80%, any given week) will be in a project execution capacity across 1-3 client projects at a time. As such, you will have a large say in how we go about supporting our clients and play a key position in driving our impact on-the-ground. Thematically, this could range considerably, with a \xe2\x80\x98typical\xe2\x80\x99 week including:\xc2\xb7 A day per week helping a wagyu livestock producer to undertake a digital carbon footprint assessment;\xc2\xb7 A day per week working with a Southeast Asian government to roll out digital transformation initiatives in the agriculture sector;\xc2\xb7 A day and a half Building a commercial strategy for a cutting-edge AgTech innovator growing from Australia to SE Asia.In addition, as part of a small but growing team, you will likely be asked to lean in on key internal initiatives that are underpinning the growth of our business (i.e., delivering our social impact strategy, helping to plan our annual offsite. etc.).Location: Hybrid- Based in Australia or Singapore.Benefits\xc2\xb7 Everyone has a stake in Beanstalk.
