The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Associate Director - Mechanical to join our Building Services team in Singapore and become part of a network of over 400 Building Services Engineers across the Asia Pacific. We are currently recruiting for Associate Director - Mechanical to join our Building Services team with broad experience in healthcare, commercial and mixed-development projects. This position will be based in our Singapore Office and reporting to Section Manager.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:


Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex Mechanical projects / multiple jobs BIM automation for construction industry productivity improvements Lead and manage project teams by reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes To devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems through applications of technical principles in order to gain respect from clients as a highly skilled consultant Understand the client's business and strategic issues in order to ensure successful outcomes and maximise repeat business revenue Understand risk on all jobs through implementation of sound audit, business and financial management and understand impact of work practices on the financial outcome of projects Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills

Key Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 10 years in consulting firm with supervision/leading roles experiences in HVAC design and building services co-ordination in healthcare, commercial, hotel, industrial and school projects. Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage Extensive practical application of principles and practices within Mechanical discipline Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English Able to work independently & exercise initiative Able to interact and work with colleagues and member of other consultants at various levels. A team, client and delivery focused working style.
