Work collaboratively with team members, frontline teams and second line partners to open new accounts in line with PVB Policies and Procedures
Responsible to manage a team of onboarding reviewers for the review of Private Bank account documents, SOW and related corroborations on account opening for individual account, corporate account & Trust Account for onshore and offshore clients.
Coach the team to understand the client profile and perform comprehensive risk assessments to ensure relevant risks are identified upfront
Monitor SLA from an onboarding TAT perspective with no dilution in risk assessments
Ensure quality of client file is appropriately risk assessed and does not pose CDD concerns for cases undertaken by team leader as reviewer
Clients that do not meet the PVB risk appetite are rejected, and Suspicious activity reports (SARs) are raised where required
Engage in the projects or tasks which related to the team

Risk Management
Responsible to ensure that key stakeholders and governance committee/forums are kept up to date on key issues, resolution plans and overall progress on initiatives.
Provide guidance to resolve CDD-related issues and risk arising from BAU activities, audits, risk reviews, etc.
Review and provide feedback on AML and CDD controls for new/existing products and services.
Partner and actively collaborate with all relevant stakeholders across the AML CDD functional and advisory space to build robust and sustainable operational and execution excellence.
Provide support and guidance in execution of FATCA related activities.
Governance
Assures AML CDD risk management through oversight and testing of AML related BKCSAs and ensures material risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored, and reported / escalated in accordance with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s Risk Management Framework.
Responsible for delivering \xe2\x80\x98effective governance\xe2\x80\x99; capability onshore and offshore (COE hubs) to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner
People Management
Develop robust succession plans
Hold regular knowledge sharing sessions with team .
Identify opportunities to improve domain knowledge of the team
Diploma or Any Graduate Degree from a recognized University. ACAMS qualification is a plus
10+ years relevant experience in KYC and client onboarding, from banking and/or financial services sector with a focus on Private Banking clients, including corporates
Solid knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Private Banking
People and service oriented, a team player with a high level of integrity and professionalism, high attention to detail
Native fluency or a high level of proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese language/ Mandarin for business support in Greater China North Asia
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize competing demands
